    Interview

    今天还是有史以来第一次坐在面试桌的另外一头,做了interview别人的人,而不是被interview的人。来面试的可是个牛人,清华毕业的,先后在CapitalOne,和WaMu做过,从简历上看来,过去几年,全职工作,还兼职念着PhD,简历上写得密密麻麻的,但受到这次financial crisis的影响,也不得不来到我们这个和金融没有任何关系的机构谋职。过去总是觉得,半个小时的交谈,能看出些什么来,其实不然。言谈之间,说到我们的工作,science, medical trials的时候,总觉得他心不在焉,但让他描述他的工作,说到housing price, credit, customer behavior, prepay loan, interest rate的时候,就觉得他眼睛一亮,眉飞色舞的。想必他面试之前,肯定也准备了许多为什么要转行的理由,但是passion这个东西,任你再聪明,终究还是装不出来的。

     

    面试完以后,大家聚在一起,交换意见,没想到看法都相同,结果就可想而知了。
