2008/5/27 Start of an endYesterday marked the end of our month-long trip to Europe. We are back to Seattle now. Wanted to post pictures here along the way, but found it challenging to find free wireless internet. So after London, finally gave up this plan. It might still be days before we sort out the pictures and post them here.
The feeling is kind of mixed towards the end of the trip. On one hand, I think I'll miss the constant traveling, the culture experience, the excitement, and sometimes just the purposeless wandering. On the other hand, we can't wait to get home. We are tired. I miss my cat, and believe it or not, even my coworkers. Afterall, after a while, European cities all look the same. But, all in all, it was a great trip.
The end of an advanture is the begining of a new one. Nostalgic as I once felt, getting used to not being on the road is still a difficult thing to do. Today I spent the whole morning trying to focus on my work. But, needless to say, the fact that I am writing this piece during work hours just goes to show you how much I have succeed. On top of that, we haven't done anything with our house since we moved in. Also, I probably need to jog down something in memory of this trip..........
